Noise meters, sound monitoring devices and vibration monitors

From monitoring environmental and workplace noise levels to vibrations that impact safety. Our noise dosimeters, sound level meters, vibration monitors, and accessories empower hygienists to access and help safeguard the well-being of workers.

Noise dosimeters

Noise dosimeters play a crucial role in monitoring employees’ noise exposure, particularly in mobile work environments where handheld meters are not feasible.

These compact wearable devices continuously record noise levels, enabling analysis of peak exposure times. Advanced models like the dBadge2 measure various parameters concurrently, reducing setup errors. Enhanced features such as audio recording and motion detection improve measurement precision, while optional functionalities like octave band measurement assist in choosing suitable hearing protection.

Vibration

Exposure to workplace vibration, known as Hand Arm Vibration (HAV) syndrome, can result in severe long-term injuries or impairments.

Monitoring enables employers to verify the ongoing safety of tools and machinery post-purchase, promoting both worker productivity and safety. It’s crucial that all monitoring devices adhere to the ISO8041 standard during manufacturing to maintain accuracy and reliability.
