A common issue when working in a confined space is the size of instrument used. With the smallest gas monitor on the market we take this issue out of the equation.

Description

Overview of the GX-3R vs. GX-3R Pro: A Detailed Comparison of Personal Gas Monitors

The GX-3R is a highly portable and user-friendly four-gas confined space personal monitor designed for personal safety. Weighing only 100 grams, it’s the world’s smallest four-gas monitor, capable of simultaneously monitoring LEL combustibles, O2, CO (with a hydrogen-compensated option), and H2S. Its compact size makes it ideal for wearing within a worker’s breathing zone, ensuring accurate exposure monitoring.

The GX-3R Pro builds upon the foundation of the GX-3R by offering five-gas monitoring capabilities and advanced features. While maintaining a small form factor (only slightly larger at 129 grams), the GX-3R Pro adds a crucial 5th channel for detecting additional gases like ppm or % volume CO2 or SO2. This expanded detection range makes it suitable for a wider variety of industrial environments. Beyond gas detection, the GX-3R Pro incorporates Bluetooth communication for real-time data transmission to mobile devices, a man-down alarm for enhanced safety, and a unique non-compliance indicator that alerts supervisors to potential issues like gas exposure or overdue calibration. It also boasts a longer battery life, with options for alkaline or rechargeable power, and a 3-year warranty, making it a robust and reliable choice for comprehensive personal gas monitoring.
